Thank you to everyone who donated food for the Wilde Toyota Hunger Task Force! The Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee is a free local food bank and Wisconsin’s leading anti-hunger organization that was founded in 1974 by parents who were fighting to get a school breakfast program established in the Milwaukee Public School Systems. The group expanded, eventually forming Milwaukee’s first food bank in the early ’80’s. The Task Force provides a safety net of emergency food to a network of local food pantries and meal programs and is the only food bank that does not charge for food, delivery, or a network membership.
This important organization is working to fight hunger locally and state-wide, and we are more than happy to lend our support. Thank you to everyone who donated and has allowed us to support this amazing food bank!
